Doug started working in the taxi industry in 1978 as a cab driver. During the ensuing years he became a dispatcher, supervisor and a General Manager in a few taxi brokerages in the city of Toronto. Doug is also a certified instructor with the Canada Safety Council in Defensive Driving Training, Q’Straint and AODA Customer Service Standards.
Doug’s wide-ranging experience has enabled him to work as a consultant assisting many conventional transportation and paratransit authorities across Canada. Doug also has worked on projects in conjunction with the American Public Transportation Association (APTA) in the paratransit industry.

Is an approach to driving which will lessen your chances of being involved in a vehicle collision. On average you make 400 observations for every 3.2 km you drive, and with those 400 observations you make about 40 decisions.
